Fitness Catylist

Fitness Catalyst...Find one.

I am not a trainer or coach, and I do not pretend to be one. I like to read books on the sports I choose to participate in. Life, in my eyes, is a sport. You can choose to compete, sit on the bench, quit, or do something in the middle of all that. I choose to push myself to compete. February is my anniversary month for fitness. I am reminded by a date that tells me about a year ago I was 205 lbs of fat potential energy. I found a fitness catalyst. He helped me be accountable to myself and my goals. Showed me that following a plan is the only way to go...especially when you are lost in the world of "heavy". I dropped 35 lbs, ran some races, and am now training for a marathon and a season of triathlons. I don not always enjoy what I hear from the guy who pushes those buttons, but I always listen. I got myself to this point with hard work and dedication. I did the work, I logged the miles, and he helped me to be accountable for each and every aspect of the journey. No health club personal trainer is going to do this for you. You need to find the person who can help you define or redefine what fitness and success are. That is a good place to start looking. 90X helped me get out of the gates. 13 weeks of hard work. I owned the DVD's for over a year before I completed the first workout. Having the tools and using them are two different things. I encourage everyone to find that person or program that will send you to the next level. Not just the next fitness level, but maybe the next level of living. Go after it while you can.
